Nine students from Statia who are in the IPA blended teacher training programme for primary school teacher are now on Aruba for an internship abroad. This internship abroad is a compulsory part of the programme. The Instituto Pedagogico Arubano (www.ipaaruba.com) started this teacher training programme for primary school teachers on St Eustatius in 2014.
